“Bad Girls,” the hit penned for M.I.A. by Reservoir writer Danja, made a primetime appearance last night in the premiere episode of Fox’s new series, The Mindy Project. This comes after notable “Bad Girls” placements in the hit summer movie Step Up Revolution and the Oxygen network’s Bad Girls Club promotional spots.

The Mindy Project was created by former The Office actress Mindy Kaling, who plays the show’s title character.  Anticipation for the new series has been rampant for weeks, and following last night’s premiere, critics are hailing the show as “impressive” (The Huffington Post), “sharp” and “funny” (E! News), and one of the television season’s “most promising” new shows compared to other offerings (Entertainment Weekly).
