Swedish superstar DJ, Avicii, released a new album today, called “True”–not unlike, funnily enough, the growing ‘T.R.U.’ hip-hop legacy of Reservoir writer 2 Chainz.  The similarities end there, though, as Avicii’s collection is a mashup of melody and dance beats.  Probable influences range from disco, heard in songs like “Addicted To You”, to trendy nightclub EDM in tracks like Reservoir title “Dear Boy”.
