Reservoir writer Ina Wroldsen has already made quite a name for herself, having penned tracks for the likes of The Saturdays, Britney Spears, and Cobra Starship. More recently, though, Wroldsen has shone on her own in one positive review after another following the release and success of Northern Light, her album as one half of the Scandinavian duo Ask Embla, where she is joined by fellow songwriter Arnthor Birgisson.

“Father’s Eyes”, the first single from the album, has already reached #1 in Norway, the only country to carry the release so far. The hit track is a mid-tempo, building pop song that is highlighted by Wroldsen’s beautifully emotive vocals.
