AMAAL NUUX DEBUTS NEW BEATCHILD COLLABORATIONS
Date:
After a nearly four year hiatus, Canadian singer-songwriter Amaal Nuux dropped her newest anthem, “Last Ones,” co-written with fellow Torontonian Beatchild. The ambient anthem, which Paper Magazine called “breathtaking,” combines acoustic and electronic elements and is emotionally evocative in the way only an upbeat and loudly chanted choir can be.
As a follow-up to the successful release of “Last Ones,” Nuux delivered another powerful collaboration with Beatchild, entitled “Who Are We?”. Complex Magazine named the “motivational acoustic banger” on their Best Canadian Songs list for this month, praising its “strong and powerful vocals with rare tinges of traditional drums and a swelling of chants.”
