SHERYL CROW & STEPH JONES HONORED AT VARIETY’S POWER OF WOMEN NASHVILLE

Variety held its inaugural Power of Women Nashville event last night, with Reservoir writers Sheryl Crow and Steph Jones both earning recognitions. The legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Crow was among the night’s top honorees. She spoke with Variety about everything from her music career, to politics, her cancer journey, and raising her teenage sons. On her latest approach to songwriting, Crow shared, “Now I just wanna write music that feels like I’m glad I wrote it.”
Jones was named a Songwriter Honoree, with Variety mentioning Jones’s collaborations with Sabrina Carpenter (“Espresso”), Jelly Roll, Teddy Swims, and many more. On her impressive songwriting credits, Variety noted, “Looking at the upper echelons of pop charts of the past 24 months, there’s almost a larger percentage of artists who have worked with veteran songwriter Jones than those who haven’t.”
