5 Seconds of Summer’s third studio album, Youngblood, soard to #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, edging out the surpise release from The Carters, Everything Is Love. Youngblood features three tracks co-written by Reservoir’s Ali Tamposi including the single and title track “Youngblood” which the group preformed on the Today Show on Friday. Tamposi additionally co-wrote the album’s heart-breakers, “Better Man” and “Lie to Me” which Rolling Stone notes “are highlights, each a power-pop gem with great hooks and even better riffs.”
With Youngblood, 5SoS brought home their third No. 1 album on the Billboard charts, and marked Reservoir’s eleventh #1 album of 2018 following the recent #1s from BTS, Cardi B,XXXTentaticion, Post Malone, and more.
