Date:
Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer dropped their newest single “Youngblood” today via Capitol Records. The cut, co-written by Reservoir writer Ali Tamposi, serves as the title track off the group’s upcoming third studio album set to be released on June 22. Popcrush said that “the hazy synth-pop track that starts off slow before exploding into an electrically-charged new wave banger…offers another promising glimpse at the upcoming album”, while band member Luke Hemmings tweeted about the track stating, “[‘Youngblood’ is] one of my favorites. Never been more proud of anything.”
