2 CHAINZ PREMIERES NEW SONG AT SUMMER JAM
This weekend, New York area radio station Hot 97 celebrated its 20th annual Summer Jam concert at Met Life Stadium, with a stacked lineup that included Reservoir writer and rapper 2 Chainz. Following a reference to the recent announcement of his September-slated sophomore album, Chainz treated the crowd to the first performance of a track from his upcoming record, “Feds Watching”.
Later in his set, which featured hits like “I’m Different”, “No Lie”, and “Birthday Song”, 2 Chainz surprised concert-goers by bringing Nicki Minaj onstage to join him in performing their smash, “Beez In The Trap”.
Fellow Platinum single holder A$AP Rocky also took the Summer Jam stage, bringing up 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar to join him for a performance of “F*ckin’ Problems“. Fellow rappers–and performers of Reservoir hits–French Montana, Chris Brown, and Lil Waynehelped round out an epic night of hip-hop with show-stopping sets of their own.
