2 CHAINZ & CALVIN HARRIS TO PLAY BRITAIN’S WIRELESS FESTIVAL
Date:
BBC has announced that 2 Chainz will play the U.K.’s Wireless festival this summer alongside heavyweight performers Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z. A look at the complete lineup reveals that EDM whiz and “Drinking From The Bottle” mastermind Calvin Harris will also play the three-day event.
Wireless has taken place since 2005, and offers a diverse lineup of pop musicians in various stages of their career; this year’s set will include relative newcomers Rita Ora, Kendrick Lamar, and Emeli Sande, as well as established acts like Nas, Snoop Dogg, and A Tribe Called Quest. Wireless takes place at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park between July 12th and 14th.
This is just one of the summer concert festivals 2 Chainz is scheduled to play; he’ll also be onstage at Lollapalooza and Coachella. Harris has a similarly busy summer ahead of him, with dates at U.K.-based V Festival and T in the Park, the music fest in his native Scotland.
