Born in Mobile, AL to a musical family, Allison Veltz Cruz is an all-around writer who specializes in topline. Formerly an artist on Atlantic, AVC notched her first #1 platinum song as a writer with “Mr. Taxi” – recorded by K-pop group, Girls’ Generation. Since then, she’s topped the Billboard Country charts with Matt Stell’s double platinum, two-week multi-platinum #1 “Prayed For You” and Tenille Arts’ platinum hit “Somebody Like That” ( which made country music history as the first Country radio #1 to be written, performed and produced by all females).
