RESERVOIR SCORES SIX BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS NOMINATIONS

The Billboard Music Awards nominations have been announced and Reservoir is pleased to represent writers and works that have contributed to a total of six nominations. The awards, handed out by the popular brand known for its music business publication and charts, will be announced live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22, 2016.

If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late by Drake is nominated for Top Rap Album. The album features Reservoir cuts “6 Man”, which samples The Roots’ “You Got Me”, written by Scott Storch. Drake also scored an additional six nominations for Top Artist, Top Male Artist,Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hop 100 Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, and Top Rap Artist.
Compton by Dr. Dre is nominated for Top Rap Album. The album features the song “Darkside” co-written by Julian Nixon.
Royalty by Chris Brown is nominated for Top R&B Album. The album features the cut “Discover” co-written by Danja. Brown also picked up a nod for Top R&B Artist.
“Lean On” by Major Lazer & DJ Snake featuring MØ is nominated for Top Dance/Electronic Song, while Major Lazer’s album, Peace Is The Mission, which features “Lean On”, is nominated for Top Dance/Electronic Album. In addition, Major Lazer and DJ Snake both picked up nominations for Top Dance/Electronic Artist.
Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü by Skrillex & Diplo is nominated for Top Dance/Electronic Album. The album features the song “Febreze”, featuring and written with 2 Chainz.
