OLLY MURS DROPS NEW ALBUM ’24 HRS’ FEATURING TWO INA WROLDSEN CUTS
Date:
UK singer-songwriter, Olly Murs, best known as the 2009 runner up on the X-Factor, drops his newest album, 24 HRS, today. The album, which Evening Star calls “pop pleasantness personified,” features two cuts, “Flaws” and “Better Without You”, written with Reservoir/Reverb Music writer Ina Wroldsen.
The emotional, stripped-back ballad, “Flaws”, serves as the record’s official finale. Digital Spy notes that on “Flaws”, Murs’ “soulful tone is given space to shine without the curly electronics that weave throughout most of the record” and the cut leaves the listener “wanting to give [Murs] a big old hug.”
In addition, the deluxe edition of 24 HRS features “Better Than You”, a slower pop song about getting over a heart break and moving on from an ex.
