NITIN SAWHNEY TO SCORE WARNER BROS.’ ‘JUNGLE BOOK: ORIGINS’

Internationally renowned Reservoir composer, producer, and recording artist Nitin Sawhney has been appointed to compose the original score to Jungle Book: Origins, the latest film adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling masterpiece The Jungle Book, due in 2017.
The newest take on Kipling’s timeless story about an orphan boy raised in the wild has been cast with Hollywood powerhouses Benedict Cumberbatch, Christian Bale, and Cate Blanchett, and is being directed by actor-director Andy Serkis, renowned for his work on the Lord of the Rings and Planet of the Apes franchises, as well as several other projects.
Sawhney’s appointment is surely warranted, as the acclaimed artist has over forty composition credits to his name. We’re excited to hear how he brings the enduring tale of The Jungle Book to life.
