NITIN SAWHNEY SCORES ANDY SERKIS’ DIRECTORIAL DEBUT FILM “BREATHE”
Date:
World-renowned Reservoir composer, producer, and recording artist Nitin Sawhney has scored Andy Serkis’ direction debut film “Breathe,” due out October 13th via Bleeker Street Media/Imaginarium Productions.
The story follows the inspiring true love story between Robin and Diana Cavendish, played by Academy Award-nominated Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy, a couple who refuses to give up in the face of a devastating disease. The heartwarming film is a celebration of human possibility and love, as the couple travels the world in the hopes of changing the lives of others who suffer the same illness.
Sawhney’s appointment is surely authorized, as the acclaimed composer has nearly fifty composition credits in his ever-growing résumé, including Serkis’ upcoming Warner Bros. Feature film, The Jungle Book Origins.
Sawhney was recognized for his incredible work having received the prestigious Ivor Novello Lifetime Achievement Award this past May. Sawhney accepted the award, stating that he “had the most blessed and fortunate life through music, even when times were tough otherwise,” music acts as a “passport to possibility.”
