JAMIE HARTMAN AND PHIL BENTLEY WRITE ON CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S "ARMY OF ME"

11/7/2012

Reverb Music artist Jamie Hartman and songwriter Phil Bentley teamed up to write "Army Of Me" for pop songstress Christina Aguilera.  "Army" is one of five songs that Aguilera is teasing in anticipation of her newest album, Lotus, to be released on November 13th.

Anthemic and uplifting, "Army of Me" is already stealing the show as the successor to Christina's 2003 hit, "Fighter."

"I wanted to do sort of a 'Fighter 2.0' inspirational uptempo for the younger generation," Christina said at an exclusive Lotus preview, as captured by MTV.  She added that many of her younger fans became familiar with the star through her role as a judge on the singing competition reality show The Voice, rather than through her music.  "This is my chance to recharge it, rejuvenate it, and do something modernized for them," Aguilera explained.

Preview "Army of Me" and pre-order Lotus on iTunes.
