RESERVOIR WRITERS ALI TAMPOSI AND THE ORPHANAGE EARN FIVE RADIO DISNEY MUSIC AWARD NOMINATIONS

5/1/2018

Nominees for the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards have been announced and cuts co-written by Reservoir writers Ali Tamposi and The Orphanage have picked up a total of five nominations. Impressively, Tamposi has co-written four of five of these nominated tracks including Song of the Year nominees, Camila Cabello’s chart-topping “Havana” and Selena Gomez & Marshmello’s “Wolves.” In addition, her co-written “Let Me Go” (feat. Florida Georgia Line & WATT) by pop artist Hailee Steinfeld scored a nomination for Best Dance Track, while, Kygo & Selena Gomez’s “It Ain’t Me" is up for Best Collaboration.

Furthermore, The Orphanage’s co-write “Sorry Not Sorry,” performed by Demi Lovato is nominated for Best Song to Lip Sync. The Orphanage’s Trevor Brown and Zaire Koalo took home ASCAP Pop Awards last week for co-writing the 3x Platinum smash hit.

The Radio Disney Music Awards will take place on June 23rd on Disney Channel.
