RESERVOIR CUTS EARN TWO MUSIC WEEK SYNC AWARDS NOMINATIONS

9/20/2017

As announced by Music Week, Reservoir cuts have picked up two nominations for the upcoming Music Week Sync Awards. The Rag’N’Bone Man smash hit “Human”, co-written by Reservoir/Reverb Music’s Jamie Hartman, is up for Best Sync - Video Game Trailer for it’s use in the Mass Effect: Andromeda video game trailer. The Barns Courtney track “Fire”, co-written by Reservoir/Reverb Music artist and writer Alfie Jackson, is nominated in the Best TV Show (Trailer) category for it’s BBC Top Gear promo.

Additionally, Rag’N’Bone Man, fresh off the success of his debut album and Gold certified hit single “Human”, is further nominated as Sync Artist Of The Year. "Human" was also notably used in the trailer for the award winning Netflix documentary, 13th, directed by Ava DuVernay. Meanwhile, Reservoir/Reverb music writer Lucy Rose's cover of "Merry Christmas Everyone" was synched in a BBC One Christmas Advert which picked up a nomination for Best TV Show (Trailer).

This year’s Music Week Sync Awards, hosted by BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Shaun Keaveny, will take place on October 19 at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London. Click here for more information.
