CAMILA CABELLO’S “HAVANA,” CO-WRITTEN BY ALI TAMPOSI, GOES PLATINUM IN THE US

11/17/2017

Camila Cabello’s “Havana” hit, co-written by Ali Tamposi, has received and RIAA Platinum certification in the US, after weeks of rising up the Billboard charts.

After performing a stunning performance at the 2017 MTV EMA Awards, Cabello dropped new remix of the sultry track, “Havana (REMIX),” featuring Daddy Yankee. “Havana” is currently holding it down at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and maintaining it’s #1 single position atop the UK charts. MTV praised the track, stating, “With its catchy hook and unique sound, there’d no denying it is one of the singles of the year.”

Newly resigned songwriter, Ali Tamposi’s hits don’t stop. This year, Tamposi recieved a Spotify Secret Genius Award in the Dance category for her contributions to dance-pop hits including Kygo x Selena Gomez’s “It Ain’t Me” and DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You” featuring Justin Bieber. Her most recent collaborations include the Selena Gomez and Marshmello collab “Wolves,” Rita Ora’s “Anywhere,” and Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso’s “Let Me Go” featuring Florida Georgia Line and Watt.
