EVANESCENCE RELEASES NEW ORCHESTRAL ALBUM ‘SYNTHESIS’

11/9/2017

Evanescence released their fourth full-length studio album, Synthesis, today via Sony Music. The 16-track release features orchestral versions of their previously released and highly popular material, along with two new cuts.

Already known for their dramatic music style, the rock band is utilizing the effects of what an orchestra can bring, as they elevate their sound to a new dimension. The single off the album, “Bring Me To Life (Synthesis),” is the orchestral release of the 7x Platinum hit from their debut album, Fallen, which dropped in August.

Lead singer Amy Lee told Loudwire, “These songs all have a life beyond the initial studio recording, so it was really satisfying to go back and sing them...To be able to incorporate some of those elements that have developed over the years…was a beautiful opportunity. I had to not only make each of these new versions better in some ways, but also preserve the core of what the initial performance so great.”
