Heralded as Sweden’s next big thing, by Vogue Magazine, Stockholm-based singer Léon released her newest single, “I Believe In Us,” co-written and produced by Reservoir/Reverb Music writer Jamie Hartman, today. Léon’s voice and style is a breath of fresh air, using captivating lyrics that explain not every love story is a successful one. “Cause I’ve been dreaming that you’d love me in the morning/Love me when the morning comes,” she longs in the enchanting track. “I’ve been dreaming that you’d love me when the fighting/ Love me when the fighting’s done/ Oh my love, don’t cry, love/ I believe in us.”

Léon revealed inspirations for the emotional balled to Consequence Of Sound, citing Fleetwood Mac, Woody Allen’s Annie Hall, and Aziz Ansari’s Modern Romance book among a list of several sources of inspiration for the cut. Columbia Records A&R Executive Chris Anokute praised Léon’s new release via Instagram, stating this is “the greatest song she has co-written in her career so far…it’s just one of those songs that will stand the test of time,” while giving credit to Hartman for co-writing and producing it.

“I Believe In Us” will appear on Léon’s upcoming third EP, due out this Fall, and she will begin her North American tour, next month.

Earlier this year, Hartman co-wrote on Nikhil D’Souza’s release “Beautiful Mind,” Kacy Hill’s “Lion,” Lena’s “If I Wasn’t Your Daughter,” and Bad Royale’s “All I Can Do.”
