Lil' Jon Wins Money for Charity on Celebrity Apprentice

3/28/2011

Reservoir writer Jonathan “Lil’ Jon” Smith won $40,000 for his charity, United Methodist Children's Home, last night on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice.  Lil’ Jon, leading the men’s team, was Project Manager for the night’s show.

The goal of the competition was to design a 30-second commercial showcasing ACN’s new video phone.  Speaking in front of 450 ACN employees, Lil’ Jon and the men’s team debuted their ad which was entitled, “Tommy Gets Engaged.”  Their commercial showcases a son telling his parents of his engagement via the ACN video phone.

The twist comes when Jose Canseco turns out to be the son’s fiancé’!   When asked by Donald Trump about Lil’ Jon and his leadership skills, the men’s team had nothing but overwhelmingly positive statements.  Congratulations to Lil’ Jon and his achievement!
