U.S. based MØ fans have had to learn to be patient.  Following a wildly succesful SXSW 2012 lineup, and regular appearances in U.S. tastemaker outlets like Fader and Pitchfork, MØ largely retreated to her native Europe in 2013, touring with Aluna George and Major Lazer, appearing on awards shows like P3 Guld, and preparing for her Euro/Australian album debut.

But lo! Thanks to a few recent developments, American fans can partake in MØ’s indie-tomboy charm as well, playing her Bikini Dazealbum on repeat on iTunes, or now, on Spotify.

Spotify’s Spotlight on 2014 playlist is the official roundup of artists the platform anticipates breaking through next year.  MØ and her dreamy track “Never Wanna Know” are featured in the countdown’s top 5 features, alongside similar aritsts Banks and FKA Twigs, plus dozens more budding acts.
