LOGIC RELEASES NEW ALBUM ‘YSIV’ FEATURING LUCY ROSE COLLAB
Date:
Rapper Logic dropped his latest album Young Sinatra IV, stylized as YSIV, today via Def Jam. The 14-track YSIV features a collaboration with Lucy Rose and fans, aka TheRattPack, on its introductory cut “Thank You”. The laidback boom-bap track, co-written and featuring Lucy Rose, touches on Logic’s appreciation of his success, spreading an overall message of positivity as Rose’s ethereal vocals float throughout. DJBooth calls the 7-minute long “Thank You,” “long, but the love is real” with an “icebox cold” beat that “might just outsell Lil Wayne if every track keeps this same energy”.
YSIV is the follow up to his #1 Billboard 200 mixtape Bobby Tarantino II, featuring the 2 Chainz collab “State Of Emergency,” released earlier this year. Logic also previously collaborated with Lucy Rose on track “Innermission” off 2015’s The Incredible True Story.
