Ronny Morris is no celebrity chaser. “I work with the people I do because I admire what they do – and what they’ve done”, he says. With a voice that has been compared to Bryan Adams or Lifehouse’s Jason Wade, Ronny Morris’ music has a straightforward honesty that comes from a strict dedication to producing great music.

Select songs from his debut album, “Sweet Silence”, have already been discovered and featured on popular American TV shows such as “Brothers & Sisters”, “Ghost Whisperer” and “One Tree Hill”, and used in Pernille Fischer Christensen’s internationally-acclaimed film “A Family” – a reflection that this album is truly something special. However, what’s most important to Ronny Morris is that the entire album was created by an artist devoted to his music, who took the time to create the sound we hear on “Sweet Silence”, without compromising his musical principles.

A few years ago, Morris sold everything, and gave himself the freedom of time to produce “Sweet Silence”. Although based in Los Angeles, his collaborative efforts for the album took him through Stockholm and Prague, New York, and Toronto. He found himself working with the Czech Symphony Orchestra or sitting in studios, working with inspiring professionals, thankful the album would also have their influence.

Morris debut album is produced by Sweden’s Adam Kviman, who is also known for his work with artists such as Eagle Eye Cherry and Jewel and mixed by the multi Grammy winner Steve Thompson, who has also worked with David Bowie, Guns N’ Roses, Korn and Metallica to name a few.

The Sweet Silence album cover was originally designed in collaboration with Storm Thogersons office in London, known for their famous album covers for artists such as Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, and Led Zepplin. Since the album’s completion, Ronny Morris has been nominated no less than six times at the American Hollywood Music Awards, a Los Angeles awards ceremony that celebrates musical forays into visual media.

In addition to being an old-school recording purist who just loves the art of creating music, Morris uses his talent to support social responsibility whenever he can. He can also be found on the ModAid20 album, recorded for the victims of the 2004 tsunami. The album included contributions from artists including Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones), PP Arnold, Ian Page, Steve Cradock, Chris Farlowe, Jimmy Winston, Mike Evans, Art Wood, Andy Ellison and Buddy Ascot.

Ronny is currently in a joined effort with Greenpeace for his first single entitled “Built to Last” together with people like George Clooney, Chris Martin and Sir Paul McCartney and many more for the global campaign called “Save the arctic”.
