Oak Felder, professionally known as Oak, is a Grammy award winning, hip-hop and pop producer & writer who spent much of his younger life in Istanbul and then Atlanta.  He has sold over 60 million records, is featured in the Apple Mac book Pro ad, worked with John Legend on the Grammy winning album Bigger Love (and recently recorded new music with him) and also worked on the Grammy nominated film “The United States vs. Billie Holiday” (co-writing and producing both “The Devil & I Got Up To Dance” and “Break Your Fall.”) Rolling Stone Magazine has called Oak “one of R&B’s most important producers” and the accolades keep coming.

Oak’s collaborations with Demi began when he produced and co-wrote her #1 single “Sorry Not Sorry” which is now 5X platinum. He also produced and co-wrote her songs “Daddy Issues,” “Games,” “Sexy Dirty Love,” “Only Forever” and “I Love Me.”

Oak was the producer and writer behind much of both of Alessia Cara’s debut and sophomore albums, Kehlani’s #1 debut album, produced and co-wrote songs for Nicki Minaj, Miguel and had 3 songs on Lizzo’s Platinum-certified debut album Cuz I Love You that won Best Progressive R&B album and nominated for Album Of The Year at the 2019 Grammys.

Oak produced and co-wrote “Change Your Life” with Kehlani (feat. Jhené Aiko) and has had consecutive #1’s with Alessia Cara’s “Here” and “Scars to Your Beautiful.” His work in the R&B genre includes Grammy award winning Alicia Keys’ “Girl On Fire,” Rihanna’s “Unapologetic” and a nomination for Usher’s “Good Kisser.”

He also produced and co-wrote The Chainsmokers’ single “Who Do You Love?” featuring 5 Seconds Of Summer and Kehlani’s “Morning Glory” from her recent mixtape. Additionally, Oak has written and produced records with Mary J Blige, Pink Sweats, Miley Cyrus, Jason Derulo, Alina Baraz, Jennifer Lopez, Mabel Big Sean amongst others.

Oak is one of the most sought after producers and writers in R&B, hip-hop and pop music working with  6LACK, GALXARA, Tierra Whack, Queen Naija, Demi Lovato, Kali Uchis, Normani, SZA and more

He  is currently scoring music a remake of the film House Party for LeBron James production company and has written both the end title and various other songs for the upcoming New Line cinema release. Additional forthcoming releases from Oak include music with Chloe Bailey, Tai Verdes and John Legend. He recently lectured at Harvard and did The latest Apple Update Custom Sound Pack by Oak Felder for Garage Band.
