British singer-songwriter Joe Cang has announced a pair of new State-side shows to take place in New York City this October.

The first date kicks off on October 3rd in the upstairs lounge at legendary Lower East Side haunt, Pianos, while the second takes place on October 4th at the Playland Motel in one of NYC’s outer boroughs, Queens.  Alongside fellow act Walker Hornung, Cang will play to raise money for those still in need as a result of 2012’s Superstorm Sandy, which affected the entire New York City area. Cang’s “Let It Go”, which appears on the 2013 release Slowtime, is featured on the album Greetings from South Queens: Songs that Survived Super Storm Sandy, released last December.
