ED SHEERAN DROPS ‘NO. 6 COLLABORATIONS PROJECT’ FEATURING YOUNG THUG AND A BOOGIE WIT DA HOODIE COLLABS
Date:
Grammy Award-winning musician Ed Sheeran released his new album, No. 6 Collaborations Project, featuring two Reservoir cuts today. The 15-track LP includes the Young Thug and J Hus collaboration, “Feels.” Featuring an infectious verse from Thug, the cut blends pop and trap production. On working with Thug, Sheeran told iHeart Radio, “I first heard [Young Thug] when he did the ‘Rich Gang’ … and I didn’t really get it. I think it was that Jeffery project that really made me understand it. And he’s got a tone that is, sometimes you don’t understand what he’s saying, but the way that he does it is just musical. So, I was always very intrigued to work with him.”
Additionally, the project includes “1000 Nights” featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Meek Mill. On the rhythmic track, the artists rap about touring the world and what it’s like to be rich and famous. Sheeran recalls he was a fan of A Boogie, commenting, “I had just bought Hoodie SZN, and I thought I’d reach out to him.”
