DONNA CASEINE & FAITH NEWMAN NAMED TO BILLBOARD’S 2025 R&B/HIP-HOP POWER PLAYERS LIST
Date:
Today, Billboard released its 2025 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players list, highlighting executives across the genres for their contributions to the industry and in the world of R&B and Hip-Hop. Reservoir congratulates our Executive Vice President, Global Creative Director Donna Caseine and our Executive Vice President of A&R and Catalog Development Faith Newman, who have both been recognized on the list.
Donna Caseine helped champion Reservoir’s 2024 deals with Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records, with Billboard quoting Donna, who says the deals “reinforce[d] Reservoir’s role as a leading home for groundbreaking talent in the genre, a reputation Faith Newman has been championing since Reservoir’s early days. We are committed to preserving and elevating the legacies of hip-hop icons as well as fostering the next generation of stars in the genre.”
Faith Newman, who has been with Reservoir for 14 years, continues to be a driving force for Reservoir’s hip-hop and R&B portfolio. In the last year, Faith ushered in a deal with El DeBarge. Notably, the deal includes some of the biggest hits from his family group, DeBarge, such as “You Wear It Well,” “Time Will Reveal,” “Love Me in a Special Way,” “All This Love,” and “I Like It.” In addition to several of these tracks topping Billboard charts decades ago, these fan-favorite songs have also been sampled by artists including Beyoncé, Moneybagg Yo, Joey Bada$$, Ashanti, Tupac, and the Notorious B.I.G., which continues to introduce the music to new listeners. Faith also remains the Creative lead for talent, including A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Killer Miker, Armani White, Joyner Lucas, Offset, Just Blaze, J.I.D., Joey Bada$$, and Statik Selektah, among others.
