Date:
Clean Bandit has dropped their newest single “Symphony”, co-written by Ina Wroldsen and featuring Swedish pop star Zara Larsson, today. The collaboration, released via Atlantic Records, was christened by Official Charts as a “match made in pop heaven”.
“Symphony” is the third single off Clean Bandit’s upcoming second album. The track follows their smash hit, “Rockabye”, featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie, also co-written by Wroldsen. “Rockabye” dominated charts worldwide. It topped charts for nine consecutive weeks in the UK, and five consecutive weeks in Australia, as well as claiming the top spot in multiple other counties and territories worldwide. It’s been ferociously climbing the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S., currently holding the #9 spot.
Coinciding with the single’s release, the band dropped the music video which tells the story of a symphony conductor who deals with love and tragic loss. The video also features Larsson in a glittery gown singing with the orchestra. In addition, the band announced that they will be performing the song live for the first time on The Voice UK, this weekend.
