Calvin Harris has scooped up the prize for Songwriter of the Year at this year’s installment of the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards in London.
The singer-songwriter-producer’s win comes after the extremely successful release of 18 Months, his third studio album that spawned several hit singles with features by Rihanna, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, and Tinie Tempah, the last of whom appears on the Reservoir track and E*Trade ad pick, “Drinking From The Bottle.”
The Ivor Novello awards are presented by BASCA, the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors, and “celebrate, honour and reward excellence in songwriting and composing.”
