BRUCE ROBERTS & LANDR PARTNER TO BRIDGE MUSIC AND TECH

Reservoir songwriter Bruce Roberts is helping to lead the charge on the launch of new music app LANDR, taking on an early adviser role in the music mastering software companyand helping to establish key music industry relationships with the buzzing tech companyearly in the game.
LANDR is a drag and drop software program that masters songs in minutes for only $39.99 per month. The app boasts more than 2 million songs mastered to date, including remixes for popular hits like Lady Gaga’s Oscar nominated track “Til It Happens To You” and Gwen Stefani’s “Make Me Like You”.
LANDR’s founder Justin Evans notes that Roberts and his business partner Greg Mertz, who together run the entertainment tech consulting firm Chalkboard Music, “were super strategic about who they put us in touch with, but they also lent us credibility by being in the room with us.” Thanks to their insight, LANDR has grown from six to sixty employees in the last two years.
Roberts’ songwriting career boasts an impressive roster of famous collaborators; he penned Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand’s #1 hit record “No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)”, and includes Elton John, Cher, and Aretha Franklin among the many superstars who have recorded his songs.
