Bridgit Mendler’s debut single, “Ready or Not” has officially been certified Gold by the RIAA.  The track, which interpolates The Delfonics’ “Ready or Not Here I Come (Can’t Hide From Love)” from the Nickel Shoe catalog, was released late last summer. Since then, it’s gained nearly 23 million video views and charted on the Billboard Hot 100.  Just last month, Mendler performed her hit while opening for Disney Channel mate Selena Gomez at a UNICEF benefit concert.

Mendler is one of six stars to receive first-time notifications in the new year. She is joined by the creators of another Reservoir track, “Bandz A Make Her Dance,” performed by Juicy J, Lil Wayne, and 2 Chainz.
