‘BRELAND AND FRIENDS’ OASIS CENTER BENEFIT CONCERT RECEIVES HIGH PRAISE
Date:
Breland led a sold-out star-studded concert on Tuesday, April 12, at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. ‘Breland and Friends’ was held in support of Middle Tennessee’s Oasis Center, which helps foster growth and development in the youth of the state.
‘Breland and Friends’ was sponsored by Amazon Music, which recently named Breland as their Breakthrough Artist of the Year and featured seventeen additional music stars across the Country and R&B genres. Dierks Bentley, Nelly, Mickey Guyton, Thomas Rhett, and many others joined the stage with Breland to raise money for the Oasis Center and sing their most famous hits and unreleased songs.
Breland kicked off the show by saying, “We are out here for a really great cause—the Oasis Center in Nashville—to help teens in crisis. They’ll be accepting donations, but I just wanted to say that it is for a great cause and y’all came here for the right show. You’re going to have a great time.”
Music Row Magazine, People, The Tennessean, Music Universe, and Country Standard Time all praised Breland and the concert. People Magazine reported, “Undeniably, BRELAND was the star of the evening, singing, dancing and sparkling his way through collaborations on 17 of the 18 songs performed. But part of his magic was also how he curated this one-of-a-kind show, filling it with a masterful combination of surprises, sure-fire crowd-pleasers and welcome new sounds.” Reservoir EVP of Creative John Ozier also spearheaded the event, helping secure talent and support Breland’s leadership of the sold-out show.
‘Breland and Friends’ came on the heels of Breland’s latest single “Praise the Lord” off his debut album, set to release this June.
