BOOGIE DROPS DEBUT ALBUM ‘EVERYTHINGS FOR SALE’ FEATURING J.I.D COLLAB
Date:
Compton rapper Boogie released his debut album Everythings For Sale, featuring a collaboration with Reservoir’s J.I.D on track “Soho,” today, via Shady Records/Interscope Records.
The smooth & hard-hitting track calls out fake friends, long commutes, and undesired business meetings. The pair has also dropped the music video for “Soho”, which Rolling Stone calls “surreal, funny, and eerie” as “Boogie spoofs the outfits of other rappers as his eyes and skin morph from human to the grotesque” and “J.I.D raps through a heavily bandaged face”.
J.I.D is coming off recent successes including his highly acclaimed sophomore album DiCaprio 2, as well as co-writing Mac Miller’s “Self Care” off the Grammy nominated album Swimming.
