BEYONCÉ BRINGS STORCH MEGAHITS TO GLASTONBURY
Date:
This weekend, international megastar Beyoncé made music history by becoming not only the first female in 21 years, but the first R&B artist EVER to headline the Glastonbury Festival. Held almost annually on a farm in Somerset, England, the festival has consistently been one of the most anticipated and talked about events in music for the past 40 years. On the last night of the three-day festival Beyoncé took over the main Pyramid stage delivering a much talked about show-stopping performance in front of a crowd of over 135,000. One of the show’s many highlights included a medley of two Reservoir tracks, “Naughty Girl” and “Baby Boy,” with surprise guest Tricky appearing on the latter. Both songs, co-written by Scott Storch, have remained two of Beyoncé’s biggest and most memorable hits.
