“Bad Girls,” the upbeat R&B-World fusion hit performed by M.I.A. and written by Reservoir songwriter-producer Danja, continues to make waves in film and TV. After months of notable placements– Step Up Revolution, Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club, The Mindy Project–“Bad Girls” gets ready to burst into 2013 with trailers for a new action-comedy film, The Heat.

The Heat stars Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy as an odd-couple style FBI agent and police offer, respectively, who have to join forces in order to take down a drug lord.  It only makes sense that “Bad Girls” should play in the background as the two prepare to bring their villain to justice.
