Molly Hatchet

Based in Jacksonville, Florida
Molly Hatchet emerged in Jacksonville, Florida in the 1970s, coming up among fellow heritage rock groups like Lynyrd Skynyrd and .38 Special. Molly Hatchet quickly distinguished itself from the rest of the circuit with a unique blend of boogie, blues, and hard rock, as exemplified in its enduring keystone single, “Flirtin’ With Disaster”. After four decades in the business and with thirteen albums under its belt, the group is still celebrated for its succession of hit releases, including 1978’s Platinum-certified debut Molly Hatchet, 1979’s triple-Platinum Flirtin’ With Disaster, and the 1980 Platinum-certified release Beatin’ The Odds. The lasting relevance of the catalog is proven with feats such as the 2007 placement of “Flirtin’ With Disaster” in the contemporary Rock Band video game series. Reservoir intends to uphold the catalog’s legacy through the pursuit of similar licensing opportunities and the unearthing of unrealized income streams.

Having toured alongside such iconic acts as Aerosmith, Bob Seger, and The Rolling Stones in the past, Molly Hatchet continues to perform heavily today, with recent stops on their 2015 Justice world tour including sets at Rock Legends Cruise III, the Sweden Rock festival, and the Riverbend festival.
