Walter Orange

Walter Orange is a member of funk and soul group the Commodores, known for their Motown hits in the late 70s and early 80s. Throughout their career as a group, the Commodores released 17 full-length studio albums between 1974 and 1995, six of which went to #1 on Billboard’s R&B charts. Collectively, they earned nine Grammy Award nominations, picking up the award for best R&B Vocal Performance for their single “Nightshift”, which Orange co-wrote, in 1986. In addition, Orange helped to pen the band’s hit single, "Brick House,” which also featured his lead vocals.
