Julie Thompson is an established multi-talented UK based writer, artist and musician.

Over the last decade Julie has forged her career as a successful songwriter and has established a reputation for her versatile approach, strong work ethic and an ability to maximize the creative potential of the artists, writers and producers she works with.

Her versatility in a range of creative environments has been the driving force behind Julie’s success. She is an accomplished top-line writer and musician that plays Piano/Keyboards, Guitar as well as being well versed in programming.

Hers skills as an exceptional vocalist led to her early success, where she co-wrote and featured on classic dance hits with artists such as The Free Stylers, DJ Tiesto and her own outfit, Holden & Thompson. Her work with DJ Tiesto on his Grammy nominated album Elements Of Life subsequently lead her to tour with him. As well as this, Julie's songs have also been cut by Tina Dico, Hyromi Go and Kym Marsh.

As an artist, Julie is signed to the dance label Black Hole Recordings through which she releases her own music as well as collaborations with artists such as Super8 & Tab, Andy Duguid, Richard Durand and many others within the EDM world.

More recently Julie has been working with a range of artists and writers such as rising Urban artist Lil Nikki (Sony) which she co-wrote the first single Intro Intro, Kitchen Party (Formally The Woo Woo’s signed to Island), Alice France, Genevieve, Lotte Mullan, Odd Jenson, John Fortis, Red Triangle and The Suppliers.
