Today Billboard announced its 2022 International Power Players List, which features ex-United States industry players nominated by their firms and peers and selected by Billboard’s editors for their contributions to the industry. This year’s list features Reservoir’s Managing Director/Global Strategic Liaison Annette Barrett and EVP of International and Emerging Markets Spek, as well as Blue Raincoat Music’s Co-Founder/CEO Jeremy Lascelles and Co-Founder/Chairman Robin Millar.

As Barrett said about her international work over 2021, “I’m proud of the work we have done this year to further build a better environment for songwriters and independent publishers, with significant advocacy across the European Union, including regarding Brexit and also via the outreach to our international partners.”

Lascelles also shared some insight on Blue Raincoat’s focus on “equality and proportional diversity across age, gender, race, disability, sexual orientation and education” within the company.” He added, “It’s a constant challenge to keep it on track — but worth it.”
