ANDY LOVE WINS AT THE BMI LONDON AWARDS

On Tuesday night, performing rights organization BMI hosted the BMI London Awards in honor the European and African songwriters whose compositions are among the most-performed songs on U.S. radio and television.
Reverb Music and Reservoir songwriter Andy Love was a winner in the TV Music Awards category, taking home prizes for his contributions to the America’s Got Talent and The X Factor theme songs with co-writer Jos Jorgensen.

America’s Got Talent is the U.S. adaptation of the global Got Talent series, which originated with Britain’s Got Talent. Likewise, The X Factor also originating in the U.K. before eventually being picked up by various international markets. Both shows operate in a reality TV format, with contestants auditioning to showcase their wares across their respective countries.
The Got Talent series is known for featuring unknown and amateur performers, with audiences determining their fate in the competition through a voting process. The X Factor features a panel of judges that mentor and guide contestants over the course of a season before ultimately determining a winner.
