ADAM WATTS DROPS NEW SOLO ALBUM ‘WHEN A HEART WAKES UP’
Date:
Adam Watts, one half of the songwriting and production duo Broken City, released his latest solo album When A Heart Wakes Up, today. The singer-songwriter alternative 11-track record, which marks Watts’ eighth solo album, includes the sweeping and anthemic indie-rock cut “Love You More.” Andie Hardee of JFH remarks on When A Heart Wakes Up’s dynamic range, noting “from the soaring and emotive ‘End of Alone’ to the experimental ‘No One Here is Innocent’ are consistently melodic and engaging.”
Watts’ recently co-produced the end credits song for the new Paramount film Book Club, sung by Katharine McPhee. Additionally, his recent projects as part of Broken City include Nashville artist Julia Ross’ latest single “Medicine Man,” in addition to co-writing and producing Colton Dixon’s album, Identity, which reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums Chart and Ana Lovelis’ If The World Ends EP, among others.
