RESERVOIR CUTS CONTRIBUTE TO THREE GRAMMY AWARDS

2/13/2017

Reservoir cuts contributed to a total of three Grammy awards at last night’s awards ceremony. Rapper 2 Chainz picked up his first-ever Grammy award when Chance The Rapper’s “No Problem” featuring Chainz and Lil Wayne took home the award for Best Rap Performance. Additionally, Chance’s album, Coloring Book, on which “No Problem” is featured, earned the Best Rap Album award, making him the first ever streaming-only artist to take home a statue. Off the success of Coloring Book, Chance also was crowned Best New Artist at last night’s ceremony.

Furthermore, Beyoncé’s Lemonade, featuring the single “Freedom” co-written and produced by Just Blaze, won Best Urban Contemporary Album.
